Ryan has extensive experience representing debtors and creditors in both in-court and out-of-court corporate restructuring scenarios with a focus on the unique legal intricacies in the transportation and supply chain industry. Within the transportation industry, Ryan assists clients with a full range of business transactions. He negotiates complex contracts, performs the financial and cash flow analyses that inform successful business strategies and decisions, and also represents clients in general litigation matters, including contract disputes, shareholder disputes, and other business litigation.
Prior to his legal career, Ryan graduated cum laude from Northwestern University where he was a comments and review editor for the Journal of Criminal Law and Criminology. Prior to law school Ryan graduated with a M.S.E.d. with honors from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S.E. with honors from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Ryan also previously served as a member of Teach For America where he taught social studies and coached basketball and track and field in Philadelphia, Brooklyn, and Chicago.
